Hello, we’re back with another post of c-dramas based on novel adaptions. There are quite a lot of them over the course of c-entertainment and unfortunately, we can’t cover all of them. For this post I’m picking dramas with novel translations or well-known dramas from 2017. Dramas aired in 2017 but were mentioned in part 1 includes Lost Love in Time + General and I. I will not mention them here to prevent from repeating the same information. As usual, admins’ reviews are colored 🙂

This month is the real Game of Thrones. A lot of anticipated dramas make their debut in June and most look really good. What will you be watching?

Entertainment Update: In the Name of the People’s Rating, 72 Floors of Mystery, Rush to the Dead Summer, The Legend of Dragon Pearl, Divas Hit the Road

In the Name of the People broke 6% on the 23^rd which is a phenomenal feat for a c-drama. So far, only 43 out of 55 episodes had aired so we might see it break 7% near the ending at the rate that it’s going

Entertainment Update: Yang Mi, The Devotion of Suspect X, Drama Updates, This is Not I Expected Trailer

After the success of the drama Three Lives Three Worlds, it is said that the value of Yang Mi’s company, Jay Walker, increased to 5 billion Yuan. (Given that the company was the main investor of the drama and a majority of the casts is from her company, it’s to be expected). This also put Yang Mi and the people in her company under the spotlight. Yang Mi signed  Vengo Gao, Dilireba, Zhang Binbin, Zhang Yunlong, Yang Chengcheng, Li Xi Rui, and Huang Mengying back in 2014 and is now being praised for successfully promoting the her people into stardom.
